The First Visit
Firstly, you will need to start with an initial physical examination and diagnosis by a health care provider. Your provider will issue a prescription for physical therapy treatment. During your first visit with us (duration is typically an hour), your will undergo a comprehensive initial evaluation. The eval includes a review & recording of your full medical history, an actual physical exam, and objective testing and measuring. The FROGS Physical Therapy therapist will also work with you to establish your rehabilitation goals. Following the evaluation, an individualized plan of care is developed to meet your specific rehabilitative needs. Whether the objective is flexibility, strength, endurance, or any combination of those three facets, the therapist creates a comprehensive rehabilitation program focused on total body care, injury prevention, as well as a safe and timely return to work, life, or sports. At this point, treatment is set to begin.
